COUNTDOWN IN LINCOLN
This is the site for the regular annual COuntdown in LINcoln (COLIN) tournament, that this year was held on Saturday, January 28th 2006 at St. Luke's church in the Birchwood area of Lincoln.
Congratulations to this year's winner with 5 wins out
of 6, Mr. Chris Wills!
For full results of the tournament please click
HERE, and for pictures please click HERE.
DOCUMENTATION
As with last year, scoresheets and paper will be provided on the day (and no photocopying balls-ups this time!), or if you wish, you can download them from the site and bring them along. Of course, there's nothing stopping you from designing and using your own if you so wish!
SCORESHEET (A5)- the
same A5 scoresheets that were used last year
SCORESHEET (A4)- the same as above, only A4 size
RESULT CHECK CARD- a sheet you can print out to keep
track of your progress throughout the day. Feel free to fill in "Final
Performance" however you see fit!
TEAM RESULT CHECK CARD- the same as above, but
for the team competition. It is recommended that at least one player from each
team keeps track of all their scores during the day.
RESULT SHEET- The sheet you hand in to me at the
end of each round so I can enter the results onto the computer as efficiently as
possible.
USEFUL LINKS
THE COUNTDOWN
PAGE- Mike Brown's website, containing information on every game ever,
memories of the show from former contestants (yours truly included!), in short,
the ultimate Countdown statistics collection online today!
THE COUNTDOWN CORRAL- Website
owned by Soo Reams, general all-round great guy, keeper of the unofficial
Countdown ratings table and writer of SwissCheese, the program used to draw the
tables at COLIN 2006.
THE
COUNTDOWN DOMAIN- Young genius Conor Travers's site featuring tips and
tricks to help improve your game- well recommended. Look how much the tips
helped him!
